My other brother
By Wendy Ella May
Tad, my brother from another mother,
We may not share blood, but we share a bond like no other.
Through thick and thin, you've always been by my side,
In you, I know I can always confide.
Your laughter is infectious, your smile so bright,
With you, everything just feels right.
We've shared so many memories, both good and bad,
But through it all, our friendship has never been had.
You're the yin to my yang, the calm to my storm,
In your presence, I always feel warm.
I cherish the moments we spend together,
For you, I would go to the ends of the earth, and wherever.
So here's to you, my dear friend Tad,
May our friendship never fade or go bad.
I am grateful for you in my life,
My brother from another mother, my rock in times of strife.
