About

Welcome to the Neuse River Writers, we’re glad you’re here!
The Neuse River Writers are a group of authors, writers, filmmakers and creative types that are all about bringing together those who write or want to write, learn about their craft, get input, learn about getting published and make new friends. We offer an environment of encouragement, support and inspiration, with monthly speakers, fun activities and an expansive way of looking at what it means to live the writing life. Our meetings are open to the public and we welcome newcomers!
We meet the second Thursday of every month from 5:00 pm to 7 pm at the Public Library of Johnston County, 305 E. Market Street, in downtown Smithfield, NC, on the second floor in the large conference room. Elevators and handicap accessibility available.
We hope you will join us at our next meeting!
