Evelyn Wool is the author and illustrator of the series, Stories from The Wool Family Farm. Winner of Johnston Now magazine’s 2022 Excellence in the Arts award, Evelyn is also the author/editor of Johnston County Creates highlighting many of Johnston County, North Carolina's creative organizations and individuals.

The former industrial engineer owns The Wool Family Farm, producing goat milk soap, beef and Mangalitsa pork, and registered Nubian dairy goats.

Evelyn serves on the Johnston County Arts Council, Neuse River Writers, and the Johnston County Goat Producers Association and is an active member of the North Carolina Dairy Goat Breeders Association.
