Cindy Draughon

Author, Book Editor

On a personal level, I’ve worn many hats over the years. I’m a mom of four handsome, accomplished sons, a USAF veteran, three-time small business owner, and I retired from the North Carolina Division of Soil & Water Conservation where I served as a Public Information Officer and communications liaison throughout North Carolina.

For the last ten years I’ve been working as a freelance developmental and line editor helping hundreds of authors take their book(s) to the next level.

But my own stories haunt my dreams and fill my mind most days, begging me to bring them to life through the written word. And we all know a mind stretched by a new idea can never regain its original dimensions.

So, I write into the night and fill the pages of each passing month, birthing characters and settings and dialogue, nurturing those stories until they come to life.
